In the 1990’s, they pioneered Christian Fitness Business by visualizing, establishing and operating Fix Your Temple Fitness Center. They have two children, George Alvin III and Aleecya Cherye’. They are members of Rhema Christian Center, Dr. La Fayette Scales, Apostle where they originated the fitness program, “Our Fitness is Our Witness” of the church’s family life center and have both served on the praise and worship team in music and dance.

In liturgical dance, she brings a modern jazz approach with a focus on glorifying the Lord in spirit and truth; she ministers with a touch of creative administrative flair.

She has authored two books: What Kind of Dancer Are You? and The Garments of the Godly Dancer with New Renaissance Media Publishing. Also a third work, titled Dance Children, Dance!, is her 2015 written project which explores the Hebrew and African roots of liturgical dance that are in the Bible.

Her ministry motivation scripture is found in Isaiah 61 as it is restated by Her Commander in Chief, the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 4:18-19.

Why us?

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the bling, to see at liberty them that are bruised,

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Luke 4:18-19
